Over the Summer, the children had great fun with these fantastic fish puppet kits by Baker Ross and loved taking their completed fish puppets home.

Back in September, the children enjoyed decorating these fantastic scarecrows with some out of date store cupboard ingredients and some straw we found on one of our walks.
I am not usually a big fan of using food for arts and crafts and messy play as it strikes me as rather wasteful in our current climate. However, when I came across some red lentils and pudding rice from my sons weaning days that had gone out of date in 2017, I thought they would be fantastic to use for this craft project. Aren’t they fun?!
I love Autumn as a childminder. The children never fail to get excited about the abundance of conkers around and we always enjoy good leaf crunching walks too.
If there’s one (or three!) things my mindees always love it’s glitter, glue and sequins! With this activity they were able to indulge their love of all three. We have done these fantastic cardboard wreaths before but this time they were star shaped!
This time round it was turn of two 2 year olds I look after. Didn’t they do well?!
